I flew in last night to heavy rain in Boston.I showed up and surprised my mother this morning for Mother’s day (she thought I was coming Thursday…). It was wonderful. And now, our state of New Hampshire is underwater.Towns are closed. (Closed! They’re closing towns!)Rivers are up 10 or 15 feet. Bridges are collapsing. These people have never experienced this. Ever.I’m just… in shock. I don’t know what to feel. I just flew into a natural disaster. It’s awful.Happy Mother’s Day.

I guess it is going to keep raining on and off for the rest of the week too. Though our illustrious weather folk say the water line is supposed to peak about noon on Monday.
Glad to hear you made it okay. Please be sure to look me up at least once while you are in the state.

Naw, this happened in ’95 i believe. They closed schools, towns, etc. It was kinda scary but i’m not too worried about it. I can swim ;)

Hope you are staying as dry as possible or at least not getting your feet too wet. I heard about it on the internet news, which John told me about. One more reason why you should be back soon….who can beat SF weather? ;)
